For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

The following Scriptures from the Old Testament give a clear description of how God will bring about His judgment upon mankind, just before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore I will shake the heavens and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts and in the day of his fierce anger. Isaiah 13:13.
Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty and maketh it waste and turneth it upside down and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. Isaiah 24:1.
The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned and few men left. Isaiah 24:5-6.
The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall and not rise again. Isaiah 24:19-20.
Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder and with earthquake and great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire. Isaiah 29:6.
The earth shall quake before them;the heavens shall tremble: the sun and moon shall be dark and the stars shall withdraw their shining. Joel 2:10.
And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come. Joel 2:30-31.
For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while and I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. Haggai 2:6.
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. Malachi 4:1.
Let’s read what Jesus said about the days of Noah and see if we can find any insight into what this “terrible day of the Lord” will be like. Look carefully at Luke 17, verse 30. It says, “Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” This verse refers back to the subject of verse 29, which states how Sodom was destroyed.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days of that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark and knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:37-39.
And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the day of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank,they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold,they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. Luke17:26-30.
If you will notice, Jesus said, “There will be earthquakes and/or great earthquakes in divers/many places, famines and pestilences.” These are the events, related to His return. Next, there were to be, “fearful sights and great signs from heaven.” Just before He returns, something happens to the view of the “sun, moon, and stars” and upon the earth, “the sea and the waves are roaring.” What on earth could possibly cause all these things to happen in such an orderly fashion? It is true, the verses say, “Immediately after the tribulation” and “after that tribulation.” In order for there to be an “after,” there has to be a “before.” The whole purpose of these studies, are to understand what the “before” events are going to entail, since these events may have a dramatic effect upon our lives.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:29-31.
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars of heaven shall fall and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Mark 13:24-27.
And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear and looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:25-28.
What about the “the sea and the waves roaring;”? Can we find any insight as to what the Lord was talking about?

There are several Scriptures, which teach, Jesus will return in a cloud and every person will see Him, all over the earth at the same time. The only way this can happen is for enough great earthquakes to occur, which will cause the earth’s crust to crack open, permitting sufficient volcanic ash to enter the atmosphere and produce a single massive cloud of dust to encircle the earth. When Jesus returns, His glorified body will radiate light, which will be reflected and illuminate throughout the cloud, all over the world at the same time. This way, every eye on the earth will see Him at the same time. Wow! Is it possible? Yes it is!!!
“Jesus Christ Will Return In The Clouds”
It will be a single massive cloud of volcanic dust particles!!!
I saw in the night visions and behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of days and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion and glory and a kingdom that all people, nations and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. Daniel 7:13-14.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they all shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:30.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mark13:26.
And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power and coming in the clouds of heaven.Mark 14:62.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:9-11.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. I Thessalonians 4:16-18.
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him and they also which pierced him: and all kindred’s of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is and which was and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:5-8.

The seventh trumpet announces the Rapture of the saved from off the earth. This event occurs at the end of the seven trumpets and before the wrath of God, which will last for 45 days, before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Notice the events on earth: lightening, voices (noises), thundering, an earthquake and great hail (volcanic bombs).
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ;and he shall reign forever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power and hast reigned. And the nations were angry and thy wrath is come and the time of the dead, that they should be judged and that thou shouldest give rewards unto thy servants the prophets and to the saints and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them, which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament; and there were lightnings and voices and thunderings and an earthquake and great hail. Revelation11:15-19.

Under the continent of Africa, there exists a massive column of molten rock, which will eventually be the mechanism that produces the “blood” or lava, flowing past the city of Jerusalem up to the “horse bridles.” This event occurs after the Rapture of the true believers and towards the end of the last 45 days during which the Seven Plagues or Vials of the Wrath of God are taking place upon the earth.
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Revelation14:19-20.

The seventh vial of wrath ends the Tribulation Period. When the last 45 days of the Wrath of God is completed, there would have been great worldwide earthquakes, massive volcanic eruptions, with towering ash clouds, volcanic lightning and volcanic bombs of melting rock. These submarine earthquakes and volcanoes will produce catastrophic tsunamis waves along the coastal areas, resulting in a displacement of the geographical location of all the islands and mountains on this earth. Every inch of landmass on the entire surface of the earth will have a new geographical position. God will judge the people of the world with fire from under the earth’s crust.
And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices and thunders and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake and so great. And the city was divided into three parts and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. Revelation 16:17-21.

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of

Fire:Then the LORD caused it to rain upon Sodom
and upon Gomorrah an inflammable sulfurous brimstone and a burning, hot
flaming fire from the LORD Jehovah out of the sky of heaven; And he looked
toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld,
and, lo, a cloud of ashes, smoke and vapor of the land went up as the fume
and smoke of a smelting furnace.---
Thou shall be visited
by the Lord Jehovah of Hosts with a peal of thunder, with earthquake and
vibration, with fierceness, shaking and vapor; and great noise, with whirlwind, storm and tempest and the flash of bright, flaming, devouring, burning

over flowing gush, and conquering overflowing rain, and a great weight of a

Supreme Authority will come:---
And the sky of heaven rent
apart, departed and separated as a writing scroll when it is rolled

cisterns and wells of the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the
bottomless pit, from the depthless infernal, from the holes in the ground, in
the manner as the smoke of a great burning, smoking furnace; and the sunlight
as rising in the east and the blowing air from its’ original place was darkened
from the smoke of the holes in the ground, the cisterns, the wells, the abyss
and the pit.---
And thus, I saw the horses in the
inspired appearance of the vision, and them that sat on them, having a chest
and breastplate of flaming red fire; and of jacinth, deep blue; and a yellow
sulfurous-like brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of

large and mighty earthquake and earth-shock; a shaking of the ground, a
commotion and tempest; such as this, so vast of a magnitude; such as was not
since human beings were upon the earth; so mighty an earthquake, and so
exceedingly great, large and mighty, so full of power.---
and there descended and fell upon human beings, a great, large and mighty
hail out of the sky of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent-like:
and human beings blasphemed, defamed and spoke evil of the very exceeding God;
Deity, because of the plague, stroke and calamity of the hail; for the
plague, stroke and calamity thereof was exceeding and vehemently, in high
degree, very great; for it was extremely severe and terrible.
